Critical Mass

One definition is:
"the minimum mass of fissionable material that can sustain a chain reaction".

It has been said that if a critical mass of people can reach expanded states of consciousness, that is all it will take for the whole to be affected. Think the Hundredth Monkey. The "expanded state of consciousness" in the monkey's case involved going from eating unwashed yams, to, after generations of this behaviour, discovering that washing them in the sea made them less sandy and more salty, so a few started doing it, then others began to copy them. Soon other monkeys on other islands inexplicably started washing their yams too. At least that's the legend, and it may not be a completely true story, but you get the drift.

James Twyman has tested this out by organising group meditations with numbers of people representing 1% of a city's population and had them meditate on the city's fringe. During these times, it was noted that war-like activities decreased, emergency room visits decreased, violent acts against others decreased, car accidents and thefts decrease, and in one case in Ireland a few years back, a heavy political situation was diffused the day after one of these events. See James Twyman's site for more info on that story.

It helps to know this when encountering people who are stuck in their current paradigms of limiting or wrong beliefs. I don't expect everybody to drop everything in the pursuit of enlightenment, because they can't. I do, however, believe that if you're reading this, then perhaps you're not one of those people, and I want to share my experiences in the hope that something deeper will stir and awaken within you.

The Sound Healing Day was a huge success. My experience was fantastic, and I got to share it with an old friend
Alex, who's in town visiting from London. He and I have always gotten on famously, probably because we're both Pleiadian. Check out his site, it's a hoot.

We both had to postpone appointments to join in, but that's half the fun. It was definitely one of the best organised World Puja broadcasts. Jonathan Goldman did a wonderful job of explaining the power of healing with sound, and Dr Emoto spoke to us through a translater at the same time Deepak Chopra and Gregg Braden joined the link up. Very Auspicious (say with dubbed Kung-Fu movie accent).

We heard about the water ceremonies that were taking place all over, where people had gathered at sunrise in different locations to pour water with the "love and gratitude" frequencies imprinted into it, into waterways small and large, to cleanse and heal our planet's water. The Hopi have a prophecy that through the waters we will know when Earth is in real trouble, and the signs are everywhere. Check this
link for a special report to the Pentagon on severe climate change.

We were to tone the "ah" sound, which is completely non-denominational so that no-one felt uncomfortable. It opens the heart chakra and pulses at the same rate as the Schumann Resonance, the base resonant frequency of the planet. It's worked out on the data that it takes just under 1/8 of a second to transit the circumference of the globe at the speed of light, so we can understand that will be on the order of ~8 cycles per second, or 8 Hz. Alex and I had gathered some rain water and tap water and put it in glass jugs in front of us so that it would pick up the frequencies that carried our "attitude of gratitude", as Jonathan put it, into the water. Can't wait to see what the water crystals from today look like when Dr Emoto puts them up on his site.

We had a great time toning together. Sometimes high, sometimes low, sometimes in the middle, and we sent out some gorgeous harmonics along with those we could hear during the broadcast.
It sounded like Jonathan Goldman had gathered quite an assembly of harmonically adept friends and students. The undertones and overtones they created were wild as usual, with bell sounds, and rumbling bass sounds emerging out of the choir's voices. It always gets me when I hear that stuff. What is it?? I don't know, but I love it! After awhile I felt like doin' some om's and each breath beforehand would seem to make the chant last for the longest time, like I had twice as much breath as usual.

It wasn't a long session, lasting for under ten minutes, but afterwards we turned to each other and grinned like Cheshire cats. It was Alex's first time, and it was pretty fab to see how much he loved it.

I'm taking one of the jugs down to The Yarra river tomorrow and pouring the whole lot in. The rest I'm drinking.

  1. Hmmm... critical mass. That has happened with the tit bird too. They learned to peck the aluminum tops of milk bottles, and then it 'transmitted' hundreds of miles away. Very cool.

I LOVE that group harmonic, chanting, can feel the sound, and become the sound feeling!
