This week's Otherware radio show promises to be another absolute cracker.
My guest this week is Ellen Hayakawa, voted as one of The Great Women of the 21st Century in 2006 Edition by the American Biographical Institute; a mover and shaker of immense proportions,
and in my opinion, one of the most transformational beings on the planet.
An internationally renowned keynote speaker, workshop facilitator and corporate coach on Spirituality in the Workplace, Ellen Hayakawa, is the President of Spirit Unlimited and the visionary and founder of the global peace Spirituality and Sustainability Summit
held in Vancouver in 2001.
She has an innate gift of inspiring joy and excitement in any gathering
and besides her coaching work in the business world, she now also works with the new children (see below), and is spearheading a world first - the inaugural Children and Youth Summit on Spirituality and Sustainability, planned for Aug 2008. Some of the lecture presenters could be as young as 4 years old, and include a
6-year-old Rinpoche that lives in India, who'll still only be 8 at the time of the Summit. Brilliant.
She writes:
" I believe that the difference in my work with the indigo children is that I am working directly with them individually as a coach, in groups, in workshops and discovering on a practical level the psychic, intuitive and healing gifts that they do have - simply by doing simple exercises and asking them the right questions (questions that nobody or few people seem to be asking them) and at the same time helping them to anchor their gifts in a practical way on Earth. As a coach I see indigos who are on drugs, who have tried to commit suicide etc., who wear all kinds of labels incl. autistic because no one recognizes them and they have no mirror. I simply hold up a mirror and say, "I see you. Do you see yourself, how beautiful and wonderful you are?
And that I and many others are happy you are here on Earth to do your job." Through my work including The 2008 Children and Youth Summit on Spirituality and Sustainability at least 50% of the presentations will be given by children and youth sharing their spiritual wisdom and psychic, intuitive and healing gifts.
I am also helping them to demonstrate and give voice to their gifts as well as raise consciousness about their existence. We need to take time for our children and listen to them. "
