Freedom Festival

net-freedom_11

Last week someone told me that they'd seen my name
on a tram somewhere, much to my suprise. Then I found out that it was on an ad for the Freedom Festival, which is on this Friday at Platform One, and so it seems that the only group of people that I work for that can afford such lavish ads are Amnesty International, which is kind of ironic. This event is to raise consciousness and funds for the plight of women who are the subject of violence.

I'm one of the "local guests" and I'm looking forward to this one very much, especially as Ursula Rucker is headlining. I'll have the honour of spinning records in between the acts on the main stage from around 9pm until Ursula makes her appearance at midnight. It would be great to see you there.

Please visit the Freedom Festival '05 site at http://www.amnesty.org.au/freedom

Fashion Assassin

Listening: "The Money Game"- Australian student of Ramtha's School of Enlightenment Michael Wanda discusses one of his brilliant out-of-the-box ideas on Beyond The Ordinary. A three phase money challenge, starting with one dollar...

Mood: Mellow

Hello Beautiful People,

Please view the flier below for The Fashion Week Wrap Party at Wonderland featuring the hottest fashion show of Fashion Week: FASHIONASSASSIN.

Happening TONIGHT 9th of September. Show at Midnight

20 Top Models, Hot Catwalk Designs

Wonderland Djs - in the main room Liz Millar, Arlen de Silva

Wonderland bar Eddie Mac and Damo Diggler

I'm spinning from 10pm- midnight when the fashion Glitterati in attendance will be sipping cocktails, so that should be a lot of fun. I'm also stepping out of the normal clubby musical territory into some deeper sounds and I'm really looking forward to it.

I've been looking through all my records that I hardly ever get to spin in nightclubs but have always wanted to. There'll be some stylish jazzy cocktail music, a heavy spinkling of soul and deep disco classics, some obscure and not so obscure Eightie's gems, a bit of deep house for good measure and probably at least one Shirley Bassey number for the coiffure fashionista Lillian Frank who'll be in the house. Dj Groove Assassin from the UK will be will follow the show which is on at midnight, and Arlen will no doubt bring it home in fine style. Hope to see you there.

WONDERLAND, Rear Entrance, Soho Lane, Prahran. 10 pm - 7 am every Friday.

The Steps For Peace Project

Great to see these two powerful spiritual forces in the world team up on such a beautifully symbolic and undoubdtedly transformative adventure. I wonder if instead of the 144,000 signatures they are asking for, the final number of people who sign the declaration of peace ends up being 144,000,000? Count me in!

Please Help Us Gather 144,000 Signatures for Peace

International Peace Troubadour James Twyman's Beloved Community and Earthdance have joined forces for an unprecedented peace mission uniting over 144,000 global citizens to sign a declaration of peace. This is a profound opportunity for everyone dedicated to creating a world of compassion and peace.

Our goal is to gather 144,000 signatures (in this case electronic signatures) which will be presented to Pope Benedict as well as to officials from the UN gathering in Assisi on September 21, the United Nation's International Day of Peace.

Help us send a strong message to the leaders of the world proclaiming our intent for creating a New World.

To sign the declaration today, please go to
www.emissaryoflight.com/peacewalk/

James will lead a peace walk from Assisi to Rome September 12th - 21st ending with a Papal audience where he, joined by Earthdance International founder, Chris Deckker, will present the names of those asking for peace to the Pope.

The following day they will take the list of names to the United Nations peacce conference taking place in Assisi. Meanwhile, Earthdance International is coordinating a global peace event taking place in hundreds of cities around the world to dance and pray for peace the weekend of September 17th.

The highlight of the Earthdance International event is a simultaneous dance-floor link up, when every event across the world plays the Prayer for Peace.

Rebuilding New Orleans?

Listening: Kevin and Michelle Hennelly discuss survival, safe places and messages from Mother Mary on Prophecy Keepers Radio

Feeling: Tearful - I just watched this:
Aaron Broussard- President Jefferson Parrish "No-one's coming to save us"

These links may be the last for awhile regarding the finger-pointing going on in the wake of Katrina. I don't feel I need to post them anymore as it has become obvious to the rest of the world that there is a despotic regime controlling the US and that it must be removed forever. Thankfully, efforts are now underway to get things done, but for most people it's too little too late.

Writing my thoughts down over the last week has proven too difficult as I've had so much going on in my head. I've needed to go into the silence many times to really feel like I've reached a point of resolution in my heart and mind regarding "the Big Picture". No doubt I will write more of my thughts about this over the coming weeks.

Let's all continue to pray for those who have departed, as well as for the living who remain and who have all been touched by this event. The sufffering will go on for years to come and in some cases, for the rest of their lives.

For those of us watching it all unfold from the safety of our homes, after we've just eaten a delicious meal or played with our pets or children, or slept peacefully with our partners on crisp clean linen has no doubt brought up in us a sense of collective guilt for having so much while there is so much suffering going on (even if our homes are modest, they all have working toilets, which is plenty more than the victims here). On top of that there is the sense of collective helplessness. "What can I do? I'm not American. I can't help." It's so frustrating feeling as though our hands are tied. They are not.

The appeal that follows is something I hope you will read carefullly and distribute to your lists widely. There is power in being heard, and making your opinion known to your government, media, schools etc. DO NOT remain silent here. Please. Your own freedom may be next to go.

It will take some time, but I believe that when New Orleans is rebuilt, it will serve as one of the world's greatest Light centres and places for healing. A spiritual rennaisance will occur there. Miracles will be shared. Tales of unbelievable survival stories will come out. People's creativity has and will continue to be tested to the max, just for basic survival. Out of that, new and unexpected leaders will be born.

Perhaps through their tragedy and sacrifice, the rest of us have been granted access on a mass scale to the greatest gift - the Truth - and armed with it we may create the conditions for a new global paradigm of unity-consciousness on Earth that so many of us have dreamt of for eons. And it occurred to me just after the disaster struck that many of those who've departed at this time may have done so because now so they can reincarnate as Crystal and Sapphire children straight away. It's so obvious how desperately we need them now. If you haven't seen the remarkable interview with Drunvalo Melchizadek I posted here a couple of months ago regarding these kids it's incredibly exciting and enlightening stuff.

Without discounting in any way the horror that we've all witnessed, or the pain of those who suffer, if there was a higher purpose for these events (and I believe that there always is) that is my general sense of it.

Urgent International Appeal.
http://www.waynemadsenreport.com/

U.S. troops in New Orleans are treating hurricane victims as members of "Al Qaeda." Reports coming to WMR report that the greater New Orleans area has been turned into a virtual military zone where troops threaten bewildered and hungry survivors who approach them for help. *One resident of the unflooded Algiers section of New Orleans on the west bank of the Mississippi River reports that the 65,000 population of the neighborhood has been reduced by forced evacuations to 2000 even though there are relatively undamaged schools, parks, and churches available to house the homeless. The remaining population of Algiers is in urgent need of medical supplies. The same situation exists in Jefferson Parish and other areas in the greater New Orleans area. U.S. troops are treating the remaining people in New Orleans and its suburbs as "suicide bombers," according to the Algiers resident. FEMA's operations are nothing more than a ruse to depopulate the poor African-American and whites from the metropolitan area. A natural disaster has now turned into a human rights catastrophe in the making. Our corporate news media is totally controlled by the Bush administration with an information embargo now in force from the Gulf coasts of Louisiana and Mississippi. Thecable news channels are now praising the White House's response. This is a blatant lie from a dictatorship that controls the media through financial control and intimidation. The web is our only way to get the news out to the rest of the world.

As a U.S. human rights activist who has reported on genocide in Rwanda,
Sudan, West Papua and other parts of the world, I am appealing to my
human rights and civil liberties contacts around the world -- Africa,
Europe, Latin America, Australia, Canada, Asia and the Pacific -- to
immediately bring this humanitarian crisis to the attention of your
elected representatives, your governments, and international
organizations. They must make immediate demarches to the American
diplomatic embassies and offices in your countries. The United States is
under the control of a despotic regime that is permitting American
citizens and legal residents to die from starvation and disease. This is
why the Bush regime refused offers of international assistance -- they
are depopulating an entire city that before the storm was 70 percent
African American, with the remaining 30 percent largely comprised of
those of Creole, French Acadian, and American Indian descent. The United
Nations must take this up as an urgent unfolding crisis that has an
international impact. Please help our people.

Meanwhile, the communications jamming in the New Orleans continues. it
is now being reported as affecting the Citizens' Band (CB) frequencies
by truck drivers on Interstate-10.

Weather Wars

Listening: Scott Stevens from Weather Wars on Dreamland.

Feeling: I just don't know

Square clouds and many other odd holes, scalar geometry and weird grids in satellite images of Katrina.

http://www.weatherwars.info/katrina.htm

The interview link above with Scott Stevens will be free to listen to for the next four weeks and if you are blown away(no pun intended) by the photos at his site you may like to listen to him back up all his theories with some good solid evidence as he chats to Whitley Strieber on Dreamland.

Dr Fred Bell Does it Again

Listening: Controlling your genetic blueprint with Dr Bruce Lipton on New Dimensions. This is excellent! Definitely one for the archives.

Mood: Reflective

Late last week, Pyradyne's Dr Fred Bell spoke out on his website about his conclusions concerning hurricane Katrina, tying it to the US Govt's secret project Haarp and high solar wind activity.

I'd wondered about whether Katrina had been made far worse than it should've been due to controlled weather manipulation so it didn't surprise me when I went to Pyradyne and right there on the front page was a detailed report from Dr Bell stating how he believed Katrina was formed. I would not discount his opinion if I were you. He's not only a science genius, he's an expert remote viewer and he's extremely well connected.

I've also heard interviews with several weather experts over the last few days and these people are screaming that this hurricane was partly due to controlled weather manipulation.

Please go and have a look at his report as it was recently updated with images of the sunspot activity that created massive solar winds at the time Katrina was forming, as well as an aerial view of the hurricane from space with a heading asking 'What is wrong with this picture?".
At the end of it he writes:

Read the Crap and Doubletalk from Haarp's website (KILLERS with Millions of Watts of Power at their CONTROL - and they are USING IT against us!)http://www.haarp.alaska.edu/haarp/ion2.html
http://www.haarp.alaska.edu/haarp/ion3.html
http://www.haarp.alaska.edu/haarp/tech.html- READ THIS in their OWN WORDS

-All the best! Dr. Fred

As as sidenote, I mentioned a couple of weeks back that I was expecting a package from Pyradyne containing some more goodies created and designed by none other than Dr Bell himself and - it arrived!

It was the BEST package too. One titanium & gold wearable head pyramid and another steel one covered in copper, gold and silver which haven't come off much I must admit, some of Dr Bell's (completely amazing) health supplements, some books written by Dr Bell and 18 hours worth of cds with Dr Bell talking on them! To the average reader it might appear like I might be a tad obsessed with Dr Bell I know but I swear I'm not. I just know a good thing when I see it.

Thankfully, I'm not the only one who sees it. Others have been commenting on my noticable "glow" lately and the more I use their products the more I love them and the better I feel (OMG I've become a Pyradyne customer evangelist). And yes, I am looking younger!

I am totally in love with my wearable pryamids and the first night I had them I went down to the convenience store wearing one just so I could check out the reaction. It's been really funny - mostly people try to act natural except they'll have this huge smile on their faces. Taxi drivers have been a little bemused, but when I wore it down Acland St in St Kilda on Friday night no-one batted an eyelid!

I wore it out to the disco on Friday night which was hilarious too, and djed in it for about 10 minutes (and all my mixes were seamless while it was on btw) . Later my girlfriend Lisa and I were propped up at the bar, her looking completely normal and me wearing a gold pyramid on my head. She turned to me and said, "I can't believe you're wearing a pyramid on your head.. but somehow it doesn't seem out of place on you." I agree. In fact I think it makes me look even hotter. I'll post some photos of my adventures with my new headgear soon. You will ache.

My Pet Goat - The Sequel

Over the coming weeks and months the world will hear the tragic stories from the survivors and rescuers of the Katrina tragedy and of the "dereliction of duty" displayed by Bush and his top aides during the first few days of the disaster-into-chaos.

I ask all those living in the US: Do you feel safer since 9-11? Do you feel safer now that Homeland Security has been incorporated into the Constitution and FEMA was given sweeping powers to manage these types of events? And most importantly, would you trust these agencies to rescue YOU if your part of the country suffered a similar disaster?

I will be posting some of the stories that I think are reporting the truth and that I believe need to be distributed widely.

Gregg Mitchell's column in Editor and Publisher is one such article that puts many of the jigsaw puzzle pieces together regarding the dereliction of duty accurately and succintly.

My Pet Goat - The Sequel
This time, during a catastrophe, the president did not merely dither for seven minutes, but for three days, and his top advisors followed suit. Whilethe media has done a good job in portraying the overall failure ofleadership in this weeks hurricane's disaster, it has not focused enough on this deadly dereliction of duty.

By Greg Mitchell

(September 03, 2005) -- While a rising chorus in the press has taken the White House, FEMA and the Pentagon to task for performing miserably in their response to the human disaster on the Gulf Coast, few have focused on themost telling aspect of the entire failure. It's not just incompetence. It's a shameful lack of concern: The 9/11 "My Pet Goat" dithering on an administration-wide scale.

Simply stated, the president and his top advisers chose vacation over action.

While the media has done a good job in portraying the overall deadly failure of leadership, it has not focused enough on this deadly dereliction of duty.

President Bush, in his weekly radio address on Saturday, said: "In America, we do not abandon our fellow citizens in their hour of need." But Bush, and his top aides, quite frankly, did just that.

I was reminded of this today, seeing pictures of Vice President Dick Cheney finally showing up at the White House after riding out the storm-of-the-century in Wyoming. Perhaps he brought back with him a couple dozen trout to throw on the grill for the White House staffers.

His absence, and the president's performance during it, can only add to the rumors that Bush is clueless without the Big Guy at his side.

This follows Bush himself remaining on vacation for more than two days after the storm hit, despite acknowledging this was the worst disaster in the nation's history. He did take a trip during those days, not back to Washington but out to San Diego to deliver a political speech comparing his Iraq war to World War II. It got little play because nearly everyone else inthe country, beyond his inner circle, was focused on New Orleans instead.

What that trip did produce was a picture of Bush laughing with a country singer and strumming a guitar. But at least the president did start heading home late Wednesday. As he did, Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice was still enjoying her vacation in New York.

In fact, that night she enjoyed a few good yucks while attending the goofy Broadway play "Spamalot." Ironically, the Bush team's performance this week did indeed seem like something out of a Monty Python skit. Each, in his orher own way, took a bunch of "silly walks."

Condi also played tennis with Monica Seles and on Thursday went on a shoe-shopping spree on Fifth Avenue until a fellow customer yelled at her for not doing her job and bloggers exposed all of this. Then she hurriedly headed back to Washington. Whoops, we discovered she was overdue in getting a grip on offers to help that were pouring in from overseas governments and organizations.

Paging Andrew Card: Turns out he was Bush's Maine man.

And what of FEMA chief Michael Brown? He was so out-of-it that he didn't even know about 10,000 evacuees living and dying at the Convention Center, even after they had received wide TV coverage for a solid day.

The next day, the president greeted him with, "Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job." A medal is surely on the way.

At a press conference on Thursday, the fourth day of the disaster, with newspapers and TV reporting tens of thousands stranded at hospitals, homes and a highway overpass, Homeland Security chief Michael Cherotff was asked by a reporter if he thought only hundreds or maybe many more needed rescued. He replied:

"I'd be guessing. I mean, a thousand seems like a very large number, but we have already rescued several thousand. Hopefully, most people have gotten themselves onto roofs and have been picked up. But, as I said, rather than give you a guesstimate, I can tell you that as long as there is someone on a roof waving a flag, we're going to be sending a helicopter out there to get them."

New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin - Radio Transcript

Friends,

Below is an interview with New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin. This is what is really happening over there, and it's heartbreaking.

If all you can do is pray, then do that. Please open your heart and join in with Lightworkers everywhere to send a continous beam of healing light to the whole Gulf Coast region. If you are in a position to help in any way with collecting food, blankets, clothing, shoes, medicines etc, please do whatever you can. I would not advise people to donate to the Red Cross however. Where did all the money go after 9-11? There has still been no inquiry.

And, as much as I am loathe to say it, doesn't it feel like 9-11 all over again? The same sense of surreal disbelief: "How the hell can this be happening?" The same outpouring of grief and compassion from the global community as we watch the utter horror of it on live TV (amid the chaos, notice how this event has opened hearts everywhere). The same feeling of frustration as we realise how we are being lied to yet again by the mainstream media. The same sense of dismay as the world watches how this situation is handled from within the US Government. The same sense of problemreactionsolution.

Right now it doesn't matter what I believe about why this has happened or why delivering aide to the needy is being so badly mis-managed. What does matter is that as many people as possible are saved. We are all connected to this event in some way, so please do WHATEVER you can to help. And be grateful every day for the breath in your body, the food in your belly and the roof over your head. People in New Orleans and beyond are fighting so hard just to have these basic necessities.

Here is a link for a local New Orleans television station who has a blog set up on their home page for updates as they come in regarding the Katrina disaster. You will find it near the top center of the page.

http://www.wwltv.com/

*(CNN) Sept 2nd-- New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin blasted the slow pace of federal and state relief efforts in an expletive-laced interview with local radio station WWL-AM.

*The following is a transcript of WWL correspondent Garland Robinette's interview with Nagin on Thursday night. Robinette asked the mayor about his conversation with President Bush:

*NAGIN:* I told him we had an incredible crisis here and that his flying over in Air Force One does not do it justice. And that I have been all around this city, and I am very frustrated because we are not able to marshal resources and we're outmanned in just about every respect.

You know the reason why the looters got out of control? Because we had most of our resources saving people, thousands of people that were stuck in attics, man, old ladies. ... You pull off the doggone ventilator vent and you look down there and they're standing in there in water up to their freaking necks. And they don't have a clue what's going on down here.

They flew down here one time two days after the doggone event was over with TV cameras, AP reporters, all kind of goddamn -- excuse my French everybody in America, but I am pissed.

*WWL:* Did you say to the president of the United States, "I need the military in here"?

*NAGIN:* I said, "I need everything."Now, I will tell you this -- and I give the president some credit on this -- he sent one John Wayne dude down here that can get some stuff done, and his name is [Lt.] Gen. [Russel] Honore. And he came off the doggone chopper, and he started cussing and people started moving. And he's getting some stuff done. They ought to give that guy -- if they don't want to give it to me, give him full authority to get the job done, and we can save some people.

**WWL:** What do you need right now to get control of this situation?

*NAGIN:* I need reinforcements, I need troops, man. I need 500 buses, man. We ain't talking about -- you know, one of the briefings we had, they were talking about getting public school bus drivers to come down here and bus people out here.

I'm like, "You got to be kidding me. This is a national disaster. Get every doggone Greyhound bus line in the country and get their asses moving to New Orleans." That's -- they're thinking small, man. And this is a major, major, major deal. And I can't emphasize it enough, man. This is crazy.

I've got 15,000 to 20,000 people over at the convention center. It's bursting at the seams. The poor people in Plaquemines Parish. ... We don't have anything, and we're sharing with our brothers in Plaquemines Parish. It's awful down here, man.

*WWL:* Do you believe that the president is seeing this, holding a news conference on it but can't do anything until [Louisiana Gov.] Kathleen Blanco requested him to do it? And do you know whether or not she has made that request?

*NAGIN:* I have no idea what they're doing. But I will tell you this: You know, God is looking down on all this, and if they are not doing everything in their power to save people, they are going to pay the price. Because every day that we delay, people are dying and they're dying by the hundreds, I'm willing to bet you.

We're getting reports and calls that are breaking my heart, from people saying, "I've been in my attic. I can't take it anymore. The water is up to my neck. I don't think I can hold out." And that's happening as we speak. You know what really upsets me, Garland? We told everybody the importance of the 17th Street Canal issue. We said, "Please, please take care of this. We don't care what you do. Figure it out."

*WWL:* Who'd you say that to?

*NAGIN:* Everybody: the governor, Homeland Security, FEMA. You name it, we said it. And they allowed that pumping station next to Pumping Station 6 to go under water. Our sewage and water board people ... stayed there and endangered their lives. And what happened when that pumping station went down, the water started flowing again in the city, and it starting getting to levels that probably killed more people.

In addition to that, we had water flowing through the pipes in the city. That's a power station over there. So there's no water flowing anywhere on the east bank of Orleans Parish. So our critical water supply was destroyed because of lack of action.

*WWL:* Why couldn't they drop the 3,000-pound sandbags or the containers that they were talking about earlier? Was it an engineering feat that just couldn't be done?

*NAGIN:* They said it was some pulleys that they had to manufacture. But, you know, in a state of emergency, man, you are creative, you figure out ways to get stuff done. Then they told me that they went overnight, and they built 17 concrete structures and they had the pulleys on them and they were going to drop them.

I flew over that thing yesterday, and it's in the same shape that it was after the storm hit. There is nothing happening. And they're feeding the public a line of bull and they're spinning, and people are dying down here.

*WWL:* If some of the public called and they're right, that there's a law that the president, that the federal government can't do anything without local or state requests, would you request martial law?

*NAGIN:* I've already called for martial law in the city of New Orleans. We did that a few days ago.

*WWL:* Did the governor do that, too?

*NAGIN:* I don't know. I don't think so.But we called for martial law when we realized that the looting was getting out of control. And we redirected all of our police officers back to patrolling the streets. They were dead-tired from saving people, but they worked all night because we thought this thing was going to blow wide open last night. And so we redirected all of our resources, and we hold it under check.

I'm not sure if we can do that another night with the current resources. And I am telling you right now: They're showing all these reports of people looting and doing all that weird stuff, and they are doing that, but people are desperate and they're trying to find food and water, the majority of them.

Now you got some knuckleheads out there, and they are taking advantage of this lawless -- this situation where, you know, we can't really control it, and they're doing some awful, awful things. But that's a small majority of the people. Most people are looking to try and survive.

And one of the things people -- nobody's talked about this. Drugs flowed in and out of New Orleans and the surrounding metropolitan area so freely it was scary to me, and that's why we were having the escalation in murders. People don't want to talk about this, but I'm going to talk about it.

You have drug addicts that are now walking around this city looking for a fix, and that's the reason why they were breaking in hospitals and drugstores. They're looking for something to take the edge off of their jones, if you will.

And right now, they don't have anything to take the edge off. And they've probably found guns. So what you're seeing is drug-starving crazy addicts, drug addicts, that are wrecking havoc. And we don't have the manpower to adequately deal with it. We can only target certain sections of the city and form a perimeter around them and hope to God that we're not overrun.

*WWL:* Well, you and I must be in the minority. Because apparently there's a section of our citizenry out there that thinks because of a law that says the federal government can't come in unless requested by the proper people, that everything that's going on to this point has been done as good as it can possibly be.

*NAGIN:* Really?

*WWL:* I know you don't feel that way.

*NAGIN:* Well, did the tsunami victims request? Did it go through a formal process to request? You know, did the Iraqi people request that we go in there? Did they ask us to go in there? What is more important?

And I'll tell you, man, I'm probably going get in a whole bunch of trouble. I'm probably going to get in so much trouble it ain't even funny. You probably won't even want to deal with me after this interview is over.

*WWL:* You and I will be in the funny place together.

*NAGIN:* But we authorized $8 billion to go to Iraq lickety-quick. After 9/11, we gave the president unprecedented powers lickety-quick to take care of New York and other places. Now, you mean to tell me that a place where most of your oil is coming through, a place that is so unique when you mention New Orleans anywhere around the world, everybody's eyes light up -- you mean to tell me that a place where you probably have thousands of people that have died and thousands more that are dying every day, that we can't figure out a way to authorize the resources that we need? Come on, man. You know, I'm not one of those drug addicts. I am thinking very clearly.

And I don't know whose problem it is. I don't know whether it's the governor's problem. I don't know whether it's the president's problem, but somebody needs to get their ass on a plane and sit down, the two of them, and figure this out right now.

*WWL:* What can we do here?

*NAGIN:* Keep talking about it.

*WWL:* We'll do that. What else can we do?

*NAGIN:* Organize people to write letters and make calls to their congressmen, to the president, to the governor. Flood their doggone offices with requests to do something. This is ridicul

ous.I don't want to see anybody do anymore goddamn press conferences. Put a moratorium on press conferences. Don't do another press conference until the resources are in this city.

And then come down to this city and stand with us when there are military trucks and troops that we can't even count. Don't tell me 40,000 people are coming here. They're not here. It's too doggone late. Now get off your asses and do something, and let's fix the biggest goddamn crisis in the history of this country.

**WWL: **I'll say it right now, you're the only politician that's called and called for arms like this. And if -- whatever it takes, the governor, president -- whatever law precedent it takes, whatever it takes, I bet that the people listening to you are on your side.

*NAGIN:* Well, I hope so, Garland. I am just -- I'm at the point now where it don't matter. People are dying. They don't have homes. They don't have jobs. The city of New Orleans will never be the same in this time.

*WWL:* We're both pretty speechless here.

*NAGIN:* Yeah, I don't know what to say. I got to go.

*WWL:* OK
. Keep in touch.
